This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the rules governing refunds, cancellations, and returns for payments made through Carslice, powered by Razorpay, our secure payment partner.
1. Scope
This policy applies to all users who make payments, booking fees, or down payments via Carslice’s web and mobile platforms for vehicle booking, car reservation, financing, or related services.
By proceeding with a transaction on our platform, you agree to this policy.
2. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your booking within 24 hours of payment, provided that:
- The vehicle has not been allocated or processed for purchase.
- Financing documentation has not been initiated.
Once the vehicle booking, loan process, or partner allocation has started, cancellation will not be accepted.
Cancellations after the 24-hour window are at the sole discretion of carslice and may incur administrative or processing charges.
How to Cancel:
To cancel your booking, log in to your carslice account, go to “My Bookings” → “Request Cancellation”, or email us at info@carslice.com with your booking ID and payment reference number.
Upon successful cancellation approval, you will receive a confirmation email or message.
3. Refund Policy
Refunds are available only for eligible cancellations or failed transactions.
- Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method (credit/debit card, UPI, net banking, wallet, etc.) used at the time of booking.
- Refunds are initiated via Razorpay’s secure refund mechanism. For reference, you can review Razorpay’s refund policy here.
- Once initiated, refunds may take 5–10 business days to reflect in your bank or card statement, depending on your financial institution.
- Instant refunds may be available if your payment source supports Razorpay Instant Refunds.
Ineligible Refund Cases:
- Cancellations requested after the booking process, documentation, or allocation has begun.
- Change of mind or voluntary withdrawal after confirmation.
- Cases where the customer fails to complete KYC, verification, or documentation within the stipulated period.
- Any payment made toward processing fees, service charges, or non-refundable deposits.
4. Processing Fees & Deductions
- Carslice reserves the right to deduct applicable administrative and payment gateway charges before issuing any refund.
- In case of partial refunds or reversals, the refund amount will be calculated after deducting such charges.
5. Refund Timeline
Once your refund is approved by Carslice, it will be initiated within 5 business days.
Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 3–10 business days for the funds to reflect in your account.
You will receive an email notification once the refund is processed.
6. Subscription or EMI Plan Cancellations
If you have opted for a financing plan, EMI structure, or installment scheme through carslice’s partner institutions:
- Cancellations will be governed by the respective financing partner’s refund and loan termination policy.
- Any payments made directly to financing institutions (banks, NBFCs, etc.) will not be refunded by carslice.
- Carslice can assist in coordinating with financing partners, but holds no liability for refunds once disbursed or processed through them.
7. Exceptions / Non-Refundable Items
The following payments are non-refundable:
- Token advance or reservation fees after vehicle allocation.
- Documentation, verification, or service processing fees.
- Payments made toward customized orders or special edition vehicles.
- Instant refund charges (if applicable).
- Any payments marked as “non-refundable” at the time of checkout or booking.
8. How to Request a Refund
To initiate a refund:
1. Log in to your carslice account.
2. Navigate to My Bookings → Request Refund.
3. Fill out the required details such as order ID, payment ID, and reason.
4. Alternatively, you may email your refund request to info@carslice.com.
Our support team will review your request and respond within 2–3 business days.
9. Policy Updates
Carslice reserves the right to modify, amend, or update this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time without prior notice.
Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website and app.
